We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate and self-motivated Lawyer for our headquarter in Ankara.

What awaits you in this role?

• Analyzing and identifying legal risks and implications,
• Coordinating external law firms when necessary or required,
• Providing research, counsel, and guidance on legal questions or issues of business units,
• Following up the official gazette on daily basis and notifying relevant business/functional units regarding the newly enforced or changed legislation,
• Conducting legal trainings as and when necessary or required,
• Following up, review and attend (if necessary) the lawsuits,
• Following up corporate secretarial processes such as General Assembly and Board meetings,
• Responding to the papers notified by civil or public authorities and draft notary papers,
• Providing legal advice to the business units or business managers in relation to contracting,
• Rendering legal advice and analyzing and resolving legal issues that arise in day-to-day operations in all areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified lawyer, admitted to the bar in Turkey, with excellent Turkish, European or other academic credentials,
• At least 3 years work experience in a similar position gained in a leading reputable law firm serving to multinationals and/ or a multinational company, mining industry will be plus,
• Result-oriented, self-motivated, hands-on mentality and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic corporate environment,
• Analytical thinking, enthusiastic, fast in action but with detailed planning,
• Strong communication skills, cross functional team worker,
• Detail oriented in terms of legal document review and drafting,
• Fluency in both written and spoken English,
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other MS Office programs,
• Having no restriction on international and domestic travel,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity,
• Being an active driver,
• Being completed military obligation for male candidates.
