Job Overview: We as Optima Shipping Services, the leading Greek brokerage organisation and one of the largest worldwide, have been providing our clients with shipbroking services in all aspects of shipping (second-hand sales, new buildings, and demolition, ship repairs, ship valuations, research, and personalized market reports) from all our offices in ATHENS, SHANGHAI, DUBAI, and ISTANBULsince 1980s. 

For our ISTANBUL office, we are looking for a new team member ready to act as a sale and purchase shipbroker and as a dedicated team of ship sale and purchase brokers in sale and purchase activities of second hand vessels, demolition and demolition and new buildings.

The successful candidate should have a desire and inspiration of acting as a team, supporting office productivity and following all potential&active projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Following all email exchanges

· Informing and coordinating with brokers regarding all emails addressed to each broker

· Making vessel circulations

· Collecting, Studying and coordinating Purchase Enquiries

· Coordinating sale candidates

· Assisting in the drawing of the Memorandum of Agreement

· Making all required exchanges for the delivery documents of concluded projects

· Handling phone calls and diverting to relevant parties

Qualifications:

· Min university degree (Maritime related degrees are preferred)

· ADVANCED English speaker and writer (beginners or any other levels different than advanced will not be qualified)

· Previous shipbroking company experience is NOT imperative however shipping company experience is MANDATORY.

· Team member / hard worker / good attitude / positive energy / eager to learn/deliver in stressful situations
