QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree (BS, MS) in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines
• Preferably has 2 to 5 years of experience in Research&Development
• Preferably has understanding of the basic principles of pressure and temperature measurements
• Ability to analyze and solve problems with analytical approaches
• Fond of R&D and innovation, focused on continuous improvement
• Self motivated, has excellent communication skills, and able to work and cooperate in a team environment
• Flexible and able to adapt to follow standard Pakkens business processes/practices
• Good command of both oral and written English (Interviews will be conducted partly in English)
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• No resctriciton for travel in and out of Turkey
• Male candidates should have no military service obligation

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Analyze the specifications and other inputs given by the customer, and evaluate the feasibility of the mentioned specifications and requests
• Take active role in the design, analysis, validation, process improvement, cost reduction and productivity activities within the scope of new product or existing product development,
• Make literature search and provide input to product development processes
• Take active role in the creation of product technical documents (specifications, instructions, user manuals, etc.)
• Analyze and interpret the test data in the product development stage to contribute to the development of the appropriate solution
• Make benchmark analysis of the products and competitors, reporting the results and providing input to product development processes
• Work effectively in coordination with other departments such as production, quality assurance, planning, purchasing, sales-marketing, etc
• Coordinate and follow up Tübitak / TEYDEP projects as responsible or team member
• Initiate and  coordinate patent, utility model and industrial design registrations
• Provide communication with customers and suppliers to coordinate the projects
