QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Involved in motorsport since 1907, Pirelli has been the exclusive official tyre partner of the Formula 1™ World Championship since 2011 and has just renewed the agreement until 2023.

We are looking for an energetic Trade Marketing Chief for our Marketing team based in Istanbul. Reporting to the Country Marketing Manager he/she will be responsible for planning and executing the trade marketing strategies and plans, ensuring different channels’ alignment. The role will take initiative to discuss and develop plans while monitoring the marketing budget, assign relative activities to team members, ensure competency and follow-up on the results. The selected candidate will be responsible of 2 resources and will be in close contact with Regional Marketing team in the headquarters.

Main Activities

  • Leading and implementing marketing strategies assigned to specific channels: strategy definition and following the reporting to evaluate KPIs set, results and ROI
  • Developing and executing the Trade Marketing Plan by channel as part of the Marketing Plan in line with sales and marketing objectives
  • Managing the Marketing Budget according to planned calendar in close coordination with the headquarters and top management in line with the company objectives
  • Creating, launching and supervising all promotional activities in line with sales targets
  • Improving brand presence and supporting sales consideration with annual advertising strategy: execution and tracking of all digital and traditional advertising activity
  • Creating and actualizing digital consumer journey while defining strategy and analyzing consumer insights
  • Developing the digital communication plan, deploying actions effectively and following /reporting the performance in line with set targets
  • Definition and leading of Pirelli network visibility in Turkey: support carrying out branding and display activities
  • Conceptualizing and supervising consumer, dealer and internal events and activities
  • Oversee merchandising and promotion production process according to market needs
  • Scouting and managing co-op and partner activities
  • Managing CRM initiatives and conducting personalized communication with target audiences using databases, Customer Relation Management (CRM) technologies, or software solutions
  • Presenting and reporting trade marketing activities to stakeholders
  • Propose and build reactive complementary initiatives to meet business objectives
  • Sourcing and managing agencies where appropriate for key marketing functions - advertising, media, digital, activity/events etc.
  • Ensuring that marketing and communications efforts adhere to the same calendar and expectations
  • Building a high performing trade marketing team and ensuring effective coordination with other teams

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in Marketing whereof minimum 3 in Trade Marketing
  • Experience in automotive sector is a plus
  • Strong computer skills (Office Suite, SAP, Salesforce Marketing)
  • Powerful decision making and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at the most Senior levels
  • Ability to be strategic, agile and results-oriented
  • Close relationship with sales team with the ability to travel and visit POS
  • Solid understanding of core marketing levers
  • Well-built analytical skills and comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • Experience with budget management and financial accountability
  • Strong business sense with commercial value creation perspective
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication skills, ability to manage relationships with sales team and customers
  • Self-motivated
  • Military obligation should be completed / exempt for male candidates
