QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our group of companies, Prosim Kimya acting as a leading representation company in the field of industrial raw materials for over 25 years and Polimer Arge Plastik Sanayi ve Tic AS producing polyester resins under Reichhold license since 2017, are leading raw material suppliers for powder coatings in the EMEA region.

We are seeking ‘’Mechanical Maintenance Engineer’’  to take part in our expanding organization in our plant located in Kartepe-Kocaeli

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years of experience in a related position
• Excellent command of spoken and written English (Interviews will be conducted in English)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
• To prepare maintenance plans for maintenance and controls to reduce machine failures
• To ensure that periodic controls of machines which are in the area of responsibility and, if necessary, make revisions and maintenance plans
• To develop projects to eliminate repetitive failures with continuous improvement
• To ensure that all subcontractors in the enterprise are controlled and working properly
• Utility Services; Having knowledge of oil boiler, nitrogen generator, steam boiler, compressed air, cooling groups
• Analytical thinking, effective problem identification and solution skills
• Well organized and strong commitment, able to keep up with the busy work pace
• Self-motivated and having a business mind-set and high energy
• Good communication and team work skills
• Works and follow up the company’s possible projects
• Knowing the Occupational Health and Safety practices in maintenance,
• Military service must be completed for male candidates
• Living in or willing to relocate toKocaeli / Kartepe

Job Description:

• Providing the necessary engineering support in the stages of maintenance and breakdown activities in the Factory Facilities Ensuring that periodic maintenance operations are carried out on time by factory resources or the right external resources, reporting the work done, 
• Carrying out and organizing investment feasibility, technical specifications, implementation and commissioning activities for project activities, 
•  Ensuring that the maintenance team works in accordance with the OHS, Environment, Quality, Energy and Information Security Management systems and eliminating the detected nonconformities, 
•  Ensuring that the spare and consumable stocks used in maintenance and breakdowns are kept at the optimum level.
