Assistant Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance and accounting operations of the hotel
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and local regulations
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets (with regional support as needed)
• Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to support operational decision-making
• Own cash flow management, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Lead finance-related documentation and audit processes
• Work closely with department heads to drive operational efficiency and cost control

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 6-8 years of finance experience (at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role)
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and finance/accounting systems
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and hands-on approach
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with tax filings and audit processes is strongly preferred
• Hospitality experience is a significant plus (but not mandatory if other criteria are strong)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
