Head Of HSE

We are looking for a Head of HSE for our global business partner operating in the internationalenergy sector, located in İzmir.

Job Description:

• You will coordinate the implementation and development of the HSE-integrated production management system
• These include Leadership Tools for managers to integrate preventive safety approaches: Gemba Walks, Safety Observation Walks, HSE Shop Floor Meetings, etc.
• You have an excellent understanding and experience in dealing with the HSE key figure system.
• You will coordinate and ensure the integration of HSE-related services of safe production processes such as risk assessments, instructions, operating instructions, etc.
• From an HSE perspective, you will ensure cooperation with other cross-departmental areas.
• You coordinate and support the management in the approval processes with the local permitting authorities for the construction of the plant with the planned production facilities, environmental regulations, waste disposal and hazardous material management.
• You report directly to site management.

Qualifications:

• You have an open focus to working with people.
• You are also interested in occupational health and safety challenges that require behavior-based approaches (BBS).
• You have a strong focus on operational production processes and know how to support them from an HSE perspective.
• You are part of a motivated and committed Global HSE team that wants to further develop and improve the risk situation of the plants.
• HSE metrics are known and you know how and why they are used
• You are a trained occupational safety specialist and have the necessary qualifications for this activity under Turkish law.
• You have extensive experience on the subject of plant permits, environmental requirements, hazardous substances in cooperation with local authorities.
• Your English skills allow you to appear sufficiently confident and are up to a technical
• discussion.
