QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our business partner is a Global innovation,technology and production company in CHEMISTRY with production facilities all around the world.

We are looking for an ‘’Assistant Business Development Manager’’ to be based in Istanbul Liason Office, representing head office in Japan.

A good candidate must be from Chemical industry or relatives with a good understanding of dynamics of Turkey’s domestic market in ‘’performance chemicals’’ and ‘’plastics’’.

 

·         Bachelor degree ( preferably BA or Engineering) 

·         Has min 4 years of experience in business development or sales roles ( Chemical & Plastic ) 

·         True understanding of international trade and logistics process

·         Project management, planning and organization skills 

·         Excellent in English (verbal and written )

·         Familiar to travel frequently (domestic and international) 

·         Has high level of responsibility

·         Commercial minded and self motivated 

·         Strong ability to work and comply with different cultures

 

JOB DESCRIPTION 


‘’Assistant Business Development Manager’’ act as a deputy ‘’Business Development Manager’’

·         Reporting to Business Development Manager 

·         Representing company on high level with excellent knowledge of company and products 

·         Continously making market analysis, product analysis and competition analysis 

·         Acting as a project manager; defining clear strategies, making short and long term business plans

·         Create opportunities within the market through interactive relations with potential customers

·         Making presentation of company and the products to potential customers for sale

·         Making appointments for potential customers(buyers) with international offices for sale 

·         Follow up and support on the operational process after sale 

·         Continously visit customers and overseas offices

·         Reporting business activities regularly to upper management
