About the job

Lead and coordinate daily press and shaping production activities.

Ensure production plans are executed in line with quantity, quality, and delivery targets.

Manage and support production operators and shift teams.

Promote and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Monitor and improve key production KPIs, including OEE, productivity, scrap rates, and downtime.

Analyze production losses and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure accurate execution and reporting of production orders within SAP.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and Kaizen methodologies.

Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance follow-up.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Reporting on production KPIs like volume, OEE, downtimes, etc.
• Estimating resource requirements and analyzing production and operational data
• Acting as a role model of HSE and continuously improving culture and behaviors
• Managing Lean Production, Standardization, and continuous improvement studies
• Reporting progress on defined or idea projects

What we expect from you in terms of

 Education and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering or a related technical field.

Soft Skills

Previous experience in team leadership, shift supervision, or line management roles.

Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and A3 Problem Solving.

Experience monitoring and improving production KPIs such as OEE, yield, productivity, and scrap rates.

Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Understanding of quality management systems and operational excellence practices.

Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and requirements.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Result-oriented and capable of working under pressure.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

Languages

• English and Turkish – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other language will be considered an asset

Work Experience and Knowledge:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in heavy industry, refractory, ceramics, cement, glass or building materials sectors.
