QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

CORPORATE SALES EXECUTIVE

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for Corporate Sales Executive to be part of flagship Rixos Tersane İstanbul. It is a newly constructed hotel that will be representative of refine hospitality. Rixos Tersane İstanbul will present 432 bedrooms.

You will be part of a strong pre-opening Sales team who will be showcasing the property.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads,
  • Carry out daily effective physical sales activities, with a number of quote instructed by Manager,
  • Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients,
  • Generate event/group inquiries from accounts and collaborate with Group & Banquet Sales department,
  • Provide an average of 24 hours response to all companies/accounts & ISO’s requests,
  • Continuous update of mailing list and account / contact profiles of his/her account base,
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions,
  • Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities,
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel /cluster and to increase market / customer share in all revenue streams,
  • Corporate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs,
  • Operate the hotel reservation system to book rooms,banquet venues etc..,
  • Conduct site ,inspections and entertainment in the hotel,
  • Schedule and develop sales activities and obtain approval from the Corporate Sales Manager, maintaining and developing customers in the region or industry according to the plan,
  • Attend Sales events, as required,
  • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner,
  • Welcome key customers, team leaders and VIPs to the hotel when they arrive as required.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a related discipline preferred,
  • Preferably luxury brand experience in a similar position,
  • Excellent communication and organization skills,
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities,
  • Ability to work within a team,
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English Language.
