As we prepare to launch our local production, we are building our commercial dream team.
The Role
We are looking for a hungry, well-connected, and results-driven Business Development Manager to act as our commercial pioneer.
You will be the "tip of the spear" for Roto-Moto in Turkey. Your primary mission is to take an unknown, innovative product and get it listed in top-tier supermarket chains, convenience stores, and alternative retail channels. You will not be managing an existing portfolio; you will be hunting for new business, opening closed doors, and building partnerships from zero.
You will report directly to the Global CEO.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pitch the unique value proposition of our innovative packaging and negotiate listing fees, margins, and shelf-placement terms.
2. Channel Expansion & Distribution
Develop Alternative Channels: Pitch to gas station networks (Opet, Shell, BP), quick-commerce platforms (Getir, Yemeksepeti), and HORECA.
Identify and negotiate with regional FMCG distributors to build a strong traditional trade (Geleneksel Kanal) network across Turkey.
3. Commercial Strategy & Trade Marketing
Work closely with the CEO to define pricing strategies, promotional calendars, and B2B trade terms.
Monitor competitor activity, shelf prices, and market trends to ensure Roto-Moto remains highly competitive.
Manage the sales budget and deliver accurate sales forecasting.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 4-7 years of aggressive B2B sales experience in the FMCG sector in Turkey. Experience specifically in Snacks (Atıştırmalık) or Dried Nuts (Kuruyemiş) is a massive advantage.
The Black Book: You must have an active, warm network of contacts among Category Managers/Buyers in Turkish Modern Trade. You know who to call to get a meeting next week.
Skillset: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills. You understand FMCG math (margins, retro-bonuses, listing fees).
Mindset: A true "Hunter." You thrive in a startup environment where you have to create processes, not just follow them. Rejection motivates you.
Languages: Native Turkish (mandatory for negotiations) and fluent English (for reporting to the founders).
