General Qualifications:

We are looking for a 'Project Specialist'to join our team at Sabancı University Istanbul International Center for Energy and Climate (IICEC).

Sabancı University IICEC is a well-recognized and growing energy and climate center in Istanbul. IICEC conducts independent, objective, and quality energy policy and market research and has a unique convening power providing a distinguished platform towards a more sustainable energy future. Qualifications: 

• Having 5 to 7 years of experience in administrative affairs and stakeholder relations,
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines,
• Excellent command of Turkish and good command of English,
• Demonstrated experience in organizing events,
• Interest in energy and climate matters,
• Excellent command of MS Office programs and relevant IT issues,
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in use of Social Media.
• Strong communication skills as demonstrated by past work,
• Strong sense of responsibility and high desire to achieve a given job, ability to take the initiative when necessary,
• Strong teamwork and organization skills,
• Detail-orientation with strong reporting skills

Job Description:

• Execution of IICEC’s Administrative tasks,
• Assisting IICEC Coordinator in all events including webinars, seminars and international conferences,
• Organizational matters including meeting, travel, accommodation arrangements,
• Managing IICEC Calendar in a timely and accurate manner,
• Preparation and content management for IICEC Website and Social Media accounts,
• Proofreading for relevant publications,
• Assisting in IICEC financial matters,
• Assisting with other miscellaneous duties as needed (e.g. ISBN & Banderol processes for IICEC publications, Visa processes as needed.)
• Support in the categorization processes of IICEC E-Archive System.

This position will be working with a fixed-term contract and is based in Minerva Palace, Karaköy.
