QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

•             Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

•             Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

•             Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports         

•             Prepare and publish monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

•             Coordinate the preparation of reporting system

•             Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

•             Research technical accounting issues for compliance

•             Support month-end and year-end close process

•             Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

•             Collaborate with auditing services, manage and comply with local, state, and federal government as well as Bank reporting requirements and tax filings

•             Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities

•             Develop and document business processes, financial and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

•             Additional controller and reporting duties as necessary

 

Requirements:

·        Working experience as a financial controller or financial manager

·        5+ years of overall combined audit and finance experience

·        Degree in Finance, Economics or related fields

·        Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

·        Experience with creating financial statements and reporting (IFRS)

·        Experience with Banking processes and regulation (Especially with Turkish Banks)

·        Interpersonal skills; outstanding mathematical skills; honesty; integrity; reliability; solid written and  verbal communication skills; high attention to detail; organizational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; research skills; analytical skills

·        Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

·        Excellent command of English in written and speaking
