Planning Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to join our Technical Office team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts, possessing advanced proficiency in Primavera 6. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring to ensure the successful execution of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

·       Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation using Primavera 6 software.

·       Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

·       Conduct regular progress assessments, identify potential delays or issues, and propose effective solutions to mitigate risks.

·       Monitor project milestones and critical path activities to ensure adherence to schedule and budget constraints.

·       Prepare detailed progress reports, variance analysis, and forecasting reports for project stakeholders.

·       Participate in project meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations to optimize project execution.

·       Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations related to project planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

·       Proven experience working in a Planning Engineer role within the construction industry.

·       Extensive experience with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts.

·       Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 software is essential.

·       Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project data and make data-driven decisions.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

·       Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in project planning and scheduling.

·       Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
