Logistics Specialist

We are an international B2B trading company looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist to independently manage our day-to-day logistics operations, covering imports, exports and domestic deliveries.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands logistics in practice, is strong in documentation and follow-up, and takes ownership of the process from planning through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently coordinate import, export and domestic shipments from planning through final delivery
• Arrange transportation and work directly with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and domestic carriers
• Request and compare freight quotations and coordinate the most suitable transportation arrangements
• Track shipments closely, including vessel schedules, ETD/ETA and delivery status
• Prepare, collect and check the required import, export and shipping documentation, ensuring documents are complete and accurate
• Prepare customer invoices and delivery notes and share the required documents with customers
• Proactively follow up on delays, missing documents or other operational issues and take ownership of resolving them
• Maintain accurate shipment, delivery and stock movement records and keep relevant parties informed throughout the process
• Communicate effectively with international suppliers and partners in English, as well as customers and service providers in Turkey

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics, import/export or supply chain operations
• Good practical knowledge of import and export processes, transportation and shipping documentation
• Experience working directly with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and transport companies
• Strong planning, shipment tracking and documentation skills
• Excellent command of English and Turkish, both written and spoken
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with ERP/CRM systems
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage logistics operations independently
• A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, follows up without being prompted and sees tasks through to completion
• Flexibility to respond to occasional time-sensitive logistics matters when needed

Experience in a B2B trading environment or industries such as food ingredients, raw materials, chemicals or pharmaceuticals will be considered an advantage.
