We are looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Executive who will lead continuous improvement initiatives, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the development of a strong lean manufacturing culture within a well-established manufacturing organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with production and related functions to identify improvement opportunities, optimize manufacturing processes, increase productivity, reduce operational costs, and ensure the sustainability of improvement actions.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline,
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, preferably within manufacturing environments, with strong experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, industrial engineering or lean manufacturing,
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, line balancing and standard work,
• Proven experience in leading and implementing continuous improvement projects in production environments,
• Strong knowledge of method and time studies, productivity analysis and process optimization,
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and project management skills,
• Ability to analyze operational KPIs and translate data into improvement actions,
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills,
• Ability to work effectively with production teams and cross-functional departments,
• Result-oriented, proactive and comfortable working directly on the shop floor,
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications,
• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken,
• Preferably residing on the European side of Istanbul,
• For male candidates, military service must be completed.

General Mission of the Position

The Continuous Improvement Executive will be responsible for leading and coordinating continuous improvement and operational excellence activities across manufacturing processes.

The role will focus on identifying improvement opportunities, increasing productivity, optimizing production processes, reducing waste and operational costs, and ensuring the sustainable implementation of lean manufacturing practices.

The position will act as a key contributor in developing acontinuous improvement culture throughout the organization by working closely with production and cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate continuous improvement and operational excellence projects across production processes,
• Identify improvement opportunities through shop-floor observations, data analysis and process reviews,
• Develop and implement improvement projects aimed at increasing productivity, efficiency and operational performance,
• Conduct and coordinate method and time studies and identify opportunities for process optimization,
• Lead line balancing, process consolidation and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) activities,
• Drive the implementation and sustainability of Lean Manufacturing methodologies includingKaizen, 5S, SMED and standard work,
• Analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks and develop sustainable improvement actions,
• Lead initiatives aimed at reducing waste, cycle times and operational costs,
• Monitor productivity and operational KPIs and prepare regular performance and improvement reports,
• Support the optimization and organization of production areas to improve workflow and efficiency,
• Ensure production routes and relevant system data are accurately maintained and updated,
• Coordinate improvement actions with Production, Quality, Planning, Maintenance and other relevant departments,
• Follow up improvement projects from identification through implementation and measure their impact,
• Ensure that improvement actions are standardized and sustained after implementation,
• Prepare and maintain procedures, work instructions, technical documentation and continuous improvement reports,
• Promote employee involvement in improvement activities and contribute to strengthening the company’scontinuous improvement culture.
