Additionally, Serban is responsible for EPC projects as a technology integrator technological buildings, factories, cyber technology and security buildings, also hotel, shopping mall, and residential projects.
We are seeking a "Contract Engineer" to be based in Ümraniye (Dudullu), İstanbul for a Data Center Project, meeting the qualifications listed below:
General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputable university,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration within large-scale construction projects (preferably data centers, industrial facilities, or energy projects),
- Experience in subcontract management, contractual correspondence, and change management processes,
- Familiarity with FIDIC-based contracts, international contracting practices, and claims, variation orders, and extension of time procedures,
- Experience in coordinating with technical office, procurement, and project teams on contractual matters,
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking),
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications,
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and reporting skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset,
- Residing in İstanbul (preferably the Asian side).
Job Description
- Support the administration of main contract and subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle,
- Prepare and maintain contractual correspondence with clients, consultants, and subcontractors,
- Monitor and track variation orders, claims, and contractual notifications,
- Review subcontractor contractual obligations and ensure compliance with project requirements,
- Maintain accurate records of contractual documentation and project correspondence,
- Coordinate with technical office, procurement, planning, and construction teams on contractual matters,
- Support the preparation of commercial and contractual reports,
- Identify potential contractual risks and escalate issues to the Commercial & Contract Manager,
- Ensure proper control, tracking, and distribution of contractual documentation,
- Support the implementation of contract administration processes.
