Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil) or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, expediting, or supply chain management within EPC or large-scale industrial projects.
- Technical knowledge of the end-to-end procurement process, including manufacturing workflows, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and technical documentation.
- Strong ability to read and interpret project schedules and experience in monitoring supplier performance against these plans.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with suppliers, sub-suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reporting and data analysis, with the ability to translate complex production data into clear management reports.
- Proactive mindset with a proven track record of identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for matrix/tracker management) and familiarity with ERP/Procurement software.
- No restrictions to travel domestically and internationally to visit manufacturing facilities for site expediting when required.
- Advanced command of English (written, spoken, and verbal communication.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain comprehensive expediting matrices to track end-to-end project processes from engineering to on-site delivery.
- Lead pre-award and post-award meetings with suppliers, managing communications throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Monitor supplier performance against project timelines, review progress reports, and proactively resolve potential schedule delays.
- Ensure the timely submission and approval of critical manufacturing documents, including drawings, technical data, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Track sub-tier orders to ensure alignment with the main project schedule and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Conduct on-site visits at manufacturing facilities or coordinate with third-party inspectors to expedite production and shipment.
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly status reports regarding the engineering, manufacturing, and shipping status of all project materials.
- Analyze costs and conduct comparisons for third-party inspection/expediting services.
Coordinate departmental tasks and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and management systems.
