Electrical Works Chief (İstanbul)

Operating under Açık Holding, Serban İnşaat provides turnkey services in the construction industry, mainly in Data Center projects and critical facilities. Additionally, Serban is responsible for EPC projects as a technology integrator technological buildings, factories, cyber technology and security buildings, also hotel, shopping mall, and residential projects.

We are seeking a Electrical Works Chief to be based on the Asian side of Istanbul for aData Center project, meeting the qualifications listed below:

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a reputable university,
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction sector,
• Proven experience in at least two large-scale industrial projects (e.g., hospitals, airports, critical facilities) as an Electrical Works Chief,
• Data Center project experience is highly preferred,
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM applications, and MS Office; Revit knowledge is an asset,
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and technical specifications,
• Proven experience in installation, erection, testing, and commissioning works,
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking),
• Strong leadership and coordination skills,
• Detail-oriented and disciplined working approach,
• Ability to manage site activities in terms of safety, quality, and schedule,
• Valid driver’s license and able to travel as needed,
• Residing in Istanbul (preferably Asian side)

Job Description

• Manage and supervise all electrical works on site, including low current, medium voltage, and high voltage systems,
• Review power calculations and electrical system designs,
• Plan, coordinate, direct, and control all electrical works on site and ensure proper execution and reporting,
• Prepare, review, and monitor electrical work schedules,
• Coordinate electrical works with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution,
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control of subcontractor works,
• Prepare and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports,
• Establish and manage coordination for testing and commissioning activities,
• Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders,
• Resolve site-related technical issues and coordinate with relevant disciplines to meet project requirements,
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements,
• Monitor progress, report to Head Office, and proactively manage risks,
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all electrical works.
