We Are Hiring an Accounting Specialist

Our company, operating in the energy sector with an international shareholder structure, is seeking an experiencedAccounting Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance Department.

Job Description

• Managing daily accounting operations in accordance with Turkish Accounting Standards (TAS), Tax Procedure Law (VUK), and company procedures,
• Reviewing general ledger entries and performing period-end closing processes,
• Supporting tax declaration processes, statutory filings, and other financial compliance obligations,
• Performing control and reconciliation of accounts, including accounts receivable/payable, bank accounts, cash accounts, inventory, fixed assets, and other accounting records,
• Contributing to monthly, periodic, and annual financial reporting processes,
• Supporting the preparation of required documents and information for independent audits, tax audits, and Certified Public Accountant (YMM) reviews,
• Contributing to the improvement of accounting processes and internal control systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields,
• Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA / SMMM) license in Turkey,
• Minimum 3- 5 years of professional experience in accounting,
• Preferably experienced in international companies, foreign-invested companies, or multinational organizations,
• Strong knowledge of Turkish Tax Legislation, Tax Procedure Law (VUK), VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and accounting practices,
• Experienced in financial reporting processes,
• Fluent in English is more welcome, with the ability to communicate effectively in written English with foreign managers,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications,
• Preferably experienced in ERP / Oracle accounting systems,
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail,
• Team-oriented, responsible, and result-driven.

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Accounting experience in energy, manufacturing, or large-scale industrial companies.
