Scope

Supervises security/loss prevention operations on a daily basis to include protection of property assets, employees, guests and property, key control management, and accident and emergency prevention and response.

Ensures that all areas of the property are safe and secure. Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures.

Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance of the department.

Represents property management in responding to any guest or employee incident.

Responsible for initial and ongoing training and development of Security staff in addition to holding staff accountable for executing their departmental standards.

Assists Security Manager in leading the resort’s emergency response effort and is chief conductor of training and regular exercises as to ensure staff awareness and readiness.

Supporting Property Operations

Maintains a strong working relationship with all departments to support property operations and goals and to expedite the resolution of any problems that may arise through the general operation of the property.

Communicates any variations to the established norms to the appropriate department in a timely manner.

Communicates any guest service related issues to the rest of the resort in a timely fashion, as ap-propriate.

Strives to improve service performance on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

One or more years of safety/security supervisory experience in a resort or hotel.

Have experience in a luxury lifestyle brand.

International resort or hotel experienced is preferred.

Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.

Looks for ways to help our guests, hosts and suppliers.

English with ability to communicate clearly.
