What We Are Looking For

• Strong background in English language teaching
• Advanced or near-native proficiency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching, English Language and Literature, Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting, American Culture and Literature, or a related field
• Previous experience in academic coordination, teacher supervision, curriculum planning, or a similar academic role is strongly preferred
• Experience in interviewing English teacher candidates and evaluating demo lessons is an advantage
• Strong understanding of English teaching methodologies, classroom management, student progress tracking, and level-based education planning
• Ability to communicate professionally with teachers, students, parents, and the management team
• Strong planning, organization, follow-up, and reporting skills
• Ability to provide constructive academic feedback to teachers
• Experience teaching or coordinating programs for kids, teens, and adults
• Familiarity with proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, TOLES, YDS, YÖKDİL, OET, Cambridge exams, or similar is an asset
• Experience working with foreign teachers or in an international education environment is a strong advantage
• A professional, solution-oriented, responsible, and proactive personality
• Openness to adopting, applying, and improving Teachera’s unique teaching methodology and academic standards

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor English education programs for different age groups and proficiency levels
• Coordinate level groups, course content, academic schedules, and overall program flow
• Manage student placement, class allocation, level transitions, and academic progress tracking
• Identify teacher needs and take an active role in English teacher recruitment processes
• Interview English teacher candidates, evaluate demo lessons, and provide academic input during hiring decisions
• Support the onboarding and orientation process of newly hired teachers
• Monitor teachers’ classroom performance, student feedback, and overall teaching effectiveness
• Provide constructive academic feedback to teachers when needed
• Ensure that course materials, curriculum flow, and teaching methods are aligned with Teachera’s academic standards
• Support students in achieving their academic and language-learning goals
• Take an active role in parent meetings, student evaluations, and progress reporting
• Evaluate academic feedback from students, parents, and teachers and manage solution-oriented follow-up processes
• Work collaboratively with the management and academic teams to improve curriculum, systems, and the overall learning experience
• Maintain high academic and professional standards in line with Teachera’s educational approach
