We are looking for an experienced and talented Chef de Partie to join our team at The Grand Tarabya Istanbul, managed by Accor.

Job Description

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your assigned kitchen section and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, quality, and presentation. You will support the Sous Chef and Chef De Cuisine in daily kitchen operations while maintaining efficiency, consistency, and compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of your assigned kitchen section.
  • Prepare and present dishes according to hotel standards, recipes, and specifications.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control in all food production.
  • Supervise, train, and support Demi Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety (HACCP).
  • Assist in stock control, inventory management, and ordering requirements.
  • Minimize food waste and contribute to cost control initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Report equipment maintenance needs and operational issues promptly.
  • Support menu development and implementation of new dishes when required.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and culinary standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel or high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Good understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate junior team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
