Overview

TITAN-Traçim is currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based at our cement plant in Vize, Kırklareli, Türkiye.The primary purpose of this position is to manage the maintenance activities of all mechanical equipment within the cement plant, ensuring operational continuity, enhancing equipment reliability, and supporting technical performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs for all mechanical equipment, including kilns, crushers, ball mills, vertical roller mills (VRMs), conveyors, bucket elevators, and industrial fans.
• Analyze complex mechanical failures, lead troubleshooting activities, and execute corrective maintenance actions to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.
• Coordinate, supervise, and provide guidance and training to maintenance personnel and external contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance execution.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure the effective utilization of the maintenance budget.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in full compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements and environmental regulations.
• Analyze equipment performance data and maintenance reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced operational efficiency.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and provide regular updates to management on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the cement, mining, or heavy process industries. Previous experience in a cement plant is considered a strong asset.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, sufficient to effectively manage technical documentation, international communication, and occupational health and safety processes.
• Knowledge of lubrication systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as alignment and balancing of rotating equipment.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); knowledge of SAP PM Module is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced industrial working environment.
