Media Buying Specialist
We are looking for a Media Buying Specialist to support our growing brand portfolio and marketing communication activities by managing media planning, media buying, budget control, and campaign performance tracking across traditional and digital media channels.
Job Description
The Media Buying Specialist will be responsible for selecting the most effective media channels in line with our brand and campaign objectives, ensuring efficient use of media budgets, and regularly monitoring and analysing campaign performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing media buying processes across TV, radio, outdoor, print, digital media, social media, influencer collaborations, and retail media channels.
- Supporting the preparation of media plans aligned with brand and campaign objectives.
- Managing communication, quotation, negotiation, and purchasing processes with media agencies, publishers, digital platforms, influencer agencies, and media owners.
- Planning campaign budgets, comparing offers, and ensuring the best possible cost-performance balance.
- Ensuring that purchased media placements go live on time, in the correct format, and in line with agreed terms.
- Following up on campaign broadcasts/publications, reporting, invoice control, and reconciliation processes.
- Monitoring digital campaign metrics such as reach, impressions, clicks, conversions, CPM, CPC, CPA, and ROAS.
- Evaluating traditional media campaigns based on criteria such as reach, frequency, GRP/TRP, visibility, location quality, and media suitability.
- Regularly monitoring competitor media activities, sector trends, and consumer touchpoints.
- Working closely with marketing, brand, sales, and trade marketing teams to understand campaign needs accurately.
- Developing media support plans for launches, promotions, retail activations, and seasonal campaigns.
- Preparing post-campaign performance reports and providing improvement recommendations for future campaigns.
- Ensuring that the media budget is used in a controlled, measurable, and efficient manner in line with company objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in media planning, media buying, digital marketing, or advertising agency operations.
- Strong knowledge of TV, outdoor, digital media, social media, and retail media buying processes.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and performance metrics.
- Ability to manage quotation, negotiation, and operational processes with media agencies, publishers, and advertising platforms.
- Strong attention to detail in budget management, offer comparison, and cost analysis.
- Proficient in MS Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong reporting, follow-up, and process management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation ability, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to manage time effectively during intensive campaign periods.
- Good understanding of brand communication, campaign management, and consumer engagement.
- Experience in FMCG, cosmetics, personal care, retail, or similar sectors is an advantage.
- Good command of English is an advantage.

Coordination Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with marketing, brand, sales, agency, and external supplier teams.
Results Orientation: Ability to continuously improve the contribution of media investments to brand awareness, sales support, reach, and visibility objectives.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in media buying within FMCG, cosmetics, personal care, or retail sectors.
- Hands-on experience in influencer marketing, social media advertising, and digital performance campaigns.
- Knowledge of outdoor media, in-store media, catalogues, digital screens, and retail media buying processes.
- Practical knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads, YouTube advertising, or similar platforms.
- Experience in agency management and media plan evaluation.
