We are looking for a Senior Back-end Developer for our gaming department who has no restrictions to travel abroad, will feel at home in our dynamic working environment and can adapt to our young and energetic work force.

Job Description

As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be a member of one of our product teams and work in sprints (Scrum) for the next deliverables. We are always aiming for great performance for our users, so we incorporate a wide variety of cutting-edge technologies. Therefore you will work in a variety of languages and environments; PHP(Laravel), Node.js, Java, MySQL. To handle all of this most of our developers make use of PhpStorm or IntelliJ IDEA. Daily work will vary from adding new functionalities and features, improving performance and solving bugs.

Having a DevOps experience and ambition is a plus, as then you can take ownership of the first line of DevOps tasks as well.

Requirements

• 5+ years full-time experience as Back-End Developer in an online technical environment
• Proper knowledge of multiple (programming) languages among which are PHP and Java
• Proper knowledge of SQL
• Experience with high-traffic websites/games and services
• You have a healthy pragmatic attitude, “being smart, getting things done”
• You like an informal but professional atmosphere

Nice to have

• Experience with Laravel framework
• Sound knowledge and experience with Apache, MySQL, GIT and Linux servers
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with: Java, Smartfox, AWS, Continuous Delivery, TeamCity, Redis
• DevOps experience and/or ambition
