Director of E-Commerce and Digital Operations

DieselFixNeuss, operating in the automotive spare parts sector since 2009, is an international e-commerce company with its headquarters in Germany, operations in Türkiye and a multichannel sales network serving the European market.

Our company specialises in remanufactured diesel injectors and various automotive components, serving customers across Europe through its own e-commerce websites as well as eBay and various online platforms. To date, we have sold more than 510,000 products through international marketplaces and our own e-commerce platforms. With approximately 27,000 followers and 99.9% positive customer feedback on eBay, and a Trustpilot rating of four point five out of five based on more than 4,200 reviews, we have built a strong, multichannel customer experience.

We are looking for a Director of E-Commerce and Digital Operations to join our Beylikdüzü office, ensuring management continuity in our existing high-volume sales operation and taking our e-commerce and digital operations forward through robust processes, data and technology.

The position is responsible for the overall management of the team at the Beylikdüzü office, e-commerce channels and digital operations. The role involves working closely with the Board of Directors to guide the development of our strong existing organisation.

Purpose of the position

The priority of this position is not direct selling or active customer acquisition. Its primary purpose is to sustain our strong existing performance, manage increasing business volumes without compromising quality, and make the operation scalable through people, processes, data and technology.

The scope of managerial responsibility covers the team at the Istanbul / Beylikdüzü office and the commercial and digital operations conducted there. The position does not include the administrative management of the production facility or overseas offices; it includes coordination with the relevant departments as required by the business.

Key responsibilities

Management and business continuity

• Manage the daily operations and team of the Istanbul / Beylikdüzü office; clarify duties, authority, responsibilities and performance targets.

• Ensure that critical processes run consistently and without interruption; reduce dependence on individuals.

• Identify operational risks in advance and safeguard business continuity.

• Manage the flow of information and work between the German headquarters and the relevant operational units.

E-commerce performance and customer experience

• Manage the overall performance of eBay, the company’s e-commerce websites and other online channels.

• Assess sales volumes by channel, country and product alongside profitability, inventory, costs, returns and customer experience.

• Ensure that high transaction volumes are managed without disrupting order, delivery, returns, warranty and customer service processes.

• Identify systemic areas for improvement arising from customer feedback and complaints, and address them with the relevant departments.

Technology and process development

• Evaluate artificial intelligence and automation solutions based on concrete business needs and measurable benefits.

• Clearly distinguish between processes that can be managed by automated systems and cases requiring human or technical specialist intervention.

• Manage integration requirements between marketplace, product data, inventory and order systems.

• Develop reporting systems and indicators that enable the Board of Directors to make sound, timely decisions.

• Evaluate new platforms such as ALZURA/Tyre24 in terms of product suitability, costs, margins, logistics and integration, and present recommendations to the Board of Directors.

The experience and approach we are looking for

• Ability to conduct written and verbal business communication in English at an advanced level; knowledge of German as a second language is preferred.

• Strong managerial experience in at least one of the following environments: e-commerce, marketplaces, digital operations or multichannel sales.

• Experience managing a team’s goals, responsibilities and performance.

• Ability to ensure continuity and service quality in a high-volume operation.

• Ability to translate data into commercial decisions and assess performance in terms of profitability and customer experience as well as revenue.

• Ability to first understand a functioning system and then make controlled improvements where needed.

• Ability to evaluate how artificial intelligence, automation and system integrations can be used in business processes.

• Ability to combine a strategic perspective with the requirements of daily operations.

• The leadership maturity to work closely with the Board of Directors and make decisions within the scope of responsibility.

Working model

• The position is based in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul.

• A hybrid working model is in place.

• The position requires close collaboration with the Board of Directors and regular communication with international units.
