Accounting Specialist

Vivo Turkey is a smart phone manufacturer established in 2021 in Gebze Güzeller industrial zone.

Vivo, which is growing rapidly in the Turkish market; It aims to produce approximately 5 million pieces of device per year and to create more than 2000 new local jobs in the future.

We would like to invite new teammate as a “Accounting Specialist”

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in Accounting or other related field, with 5+ years of work experience in AR, AP accounting and GL role. Having work experience in Big 4 Firm or mobile phone industry is preferable.
2. Good knowledge in Oracle operation and logic.
3. Familiar to Turkey accounting principles and respond quickly to the change.
4. Fluent in spoken & written English.
5. Strong team player, selfadapted and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support the team to perform daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger etc.
2. Ensure accounting closing is completed in a timely and accurate manner and perform reconciliation activities as needed. 
3. Periodically review accounting entries to ensure compliance with Turkish accounting standards.
4. Prepares analyses for the income statement and balance sheet items.
5. Maintain accounting controls and assist to research accounting policies and procedures.
6. Support Oracle system further improvement.
7. Assist in preparing various schedules and reports for audit and tax inquires.

Factory Location: Kocaeli - Gebze

Working Hours: 08:00 - 18:00 (Monday-Friday)

Working type: Onsite - In the factory

Shuttle route : Gebze, Darıca, Çayırova and Istanbul (Anatolian side) on the e-5 route
