Junior Social Media & Content Creator

Valide İstanbul is looking for a Junior Social Media & Content Creator to support our social media, content production and visual communication activities.

Located in the garden of the historic Hürrem Sultan Hamam in Sultanahmet, Valide İstanbul is a Turkish restaurant welcoming both local and international guests.

This role is not limited to managing social media. We are looking for someone who can create, photograph, film and design, while understanding and representing the character of the brand.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of Valide İstanbul’s social media channels
• Plan and produce content for Instagram and other relevant platforms
• Take high-quality photo and video content on location
• Edit and prepare photo and video content for social media
• Create social media visuals and other communication materials
• Support ongoing graphic design needs, including menus, product visuals, presentations and printed materials
• Work with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Maintain consistency with Valide İstanbul’s visual identity and communication style
• Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing and Brand Management teams
• Follow current social media formats, trends and content practices
• Take responsibility for assigned projects and manage tasks from production to delivery

Requirements

• University student or recent graduate
• Good command of English
• Strong interest in social media and digital content
• Able to shoot both photography and video
• Comfortable using an SLR or mirrorless camera
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Basic video editing skills
• Strong visual sense and attention to detail
• Organized, responsible and able to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Own computer and camera

Working Arrangement

We are open to part-time or freelance arrangements.

Working days and hours can be discussed based on the candidate’s availability and the needs of the position.
