R&D Laboratory Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for colleagues who want to be part of a good team to work in the R&D Laboratory unit of Vestel Beyaz Eşya Air Conditioning Factory.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• Master’s Degree is a plus (preferably in thermodynamics or industrial engineering)
• Excellent command of written and verbal English (second language will be an asset),
• Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Programmes,
• Competent in reporting and making presentations,
• Strong technical background and analytical thinking skills,
• Experienced in Cooling Cycle based thermal product (Air Conditioning, Heat Exchanger) design
• Experienced in R&D  projects and/or international project management,
• Preferably experienced or junior (experienced candidates in related area will be prioritized) in White Goods/HVAC industry,
• Preferably have knowledge in HVAC industry,
• Have knowledge in international standards, took part in product performance, safety, efficiency certification processes,
• Preferably worked with product management and sales teams, made technical interviews with domestic/international customers,
• Preferably experienced in patent analysis process,
• Preferably involved in digital transformation & IOT projects,
• Able to reside in Manisa/İzmir region,
• No travel restriction,
• No military obligation for male candidates,

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Participating in heating and cooling system design studies for air conditioner models
• Supporting heating and cooling system design development studies for existing models
• Carrying out new product safety, test processes and  approval studies with relevant accredited international or domestic approval bodies and  ensurinhg that relevant approval reports and certificates are obtained,
• Conducting the creation of technical documentation data and managing technical specifications
• Carrying out market research, cost analysis, system analysis and product development stages in new product/platform development projects from scratch
• Examining product cost &profitability analysis and performing cost reduction studies
• Monitoring closely technological and professional developments related to the task and  investigating its applicability to continuously improve itself, producing innovation projects
• Analyzing competitors' products and conducting benchmark in terms of job description
• Ensuring that the department's activities are carried out in accordance with ISO 9001, Ohsas 18001, Environment 14001 and ISO 50001 quality policy/quality targets and quality system,
