To be commissioned in our Istanbul Office we are seeking a “Security Manager”. The ideal candidate should have the below qualifications;

• Graduated from a reputable university with minimum Bachelor Degree,
• At least 5 years of experience in Security Management,
• Strong English command with written and verbal skills,
• Strong reporting and problem solving competencies,
• Strong communication skills with multiple parties and relationship management,
• Resident in Istanbul or willing to relocate,
• Completion of military service for male candidates,

Job description:

• Provide a visual security presence to ensure that the visitors have a safe and pleasant experience while visiting the centre.  Ensure that all electronic and mechanical systems relating to security are functioning properly.
• Responsible for guard force management at all VACs.
• Safe guard and protect company assets and provide a safe and secure work environment for employees, vendors, contractors & visitors.
• Ensure life safety of all inside VAC and institute loss prevention measures to prevent incidents/accidents.
• Recommend Countermeasures to ensure security of people, assets and processes in regular consultations with Operations teams.
• Accountable for maintenance of automation security systems.
• Ensure Compliance with VFS Global defined information security policies and procedures applicable to the role.
• Ensure all critical service levels are met and contractual obligations compiled to, with deviations reported through incident report framework.
• Ensure implementation of security policies and procedures. Prepare, plan, coordinate, and manage an inspection program for compliance by business interests with best practices of physical security policies & requirements.
• Supervise the deployment and performance of security personnel.
• Ensure reporting and handling of security incidents.
• Conduct awareness training for  all employees, contractors and vendors.
• Maintain logs of CSL-3 fulfilment for UK VACs and send MIS.
• Involved in Security operation such as ID administration, log review and monitoring.
• Communicate  unresolved security exposures, misuse, or non-compliance situations to management.
