Purchasing Manager

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to joinWittmann Teknoloji Limited Şirketi at our factory located in KOBİ OSB, Dilovası/Kocaeli. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the company's purchasing and procurement operations.

General Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in technical purchasing and the procurement of electronic and electrical components,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position within purchasing/procurement,
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international purchasing and procurement processes,
• Advanced level of English, both written and spoken,
• Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing companies,
• Proficient in MS Office applications with strong reporting skills,
• Experience in supplier management and development processes,
• Strong negotiation, bargaining, and persuasion skills,
• Experience in cost analysis, price comparisons, and cost reduction initiatives,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Strong planning and organizational skills,
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability in team management and coordination,
• Knowledge and experience in logistics and supply chain processes,
• No restrictions on business travel,
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Pendik, Tuzla, Gebze, or Darıca,
• Valid Class B driver's license and active driving experience.

Job Description

• Develop, establish, and ensure the implementation of the company's purchasing strategies and policies,
• Manage domestic, international, and InterCompany purchasing and procurement processes in line with production and operational requirements,
• Ensure that required materials and components are procured with the desired quality and technical specifications, at optimum cost and within the required lead time,
• Research and identify new suppliers, evaluate existing suppliers, and improve supplier performance,
• Manage negotiations and contractual processes with suppliers regarding pricing, payment terms, delivery conditions, and other commercial terms,
• Optimize purchasing costs and carry out cost reduction initiatives by developing alternative materials and supply sources,
• Ensure effective coordination with the Foreign Trade, Order Management, Production, Planning, Logistics, and Accounting departments,
• Plan and distribute the workload of the purchasing team, monitor team performance, and support team development,
• Lead improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency of purchasing processes and report the results to management.
