Now, We are looking for a "Accounts Receivable" to join our amazing team!

Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and maintaining strong relationships with guests, travel agencies, and corporate partners.

The position plays an important role in maintaining healthy cash flow while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely collection and accurate financial records.

• Verify daily charges and reconcile balances against the Daily Business Report.

• Review and reconcile credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and proper posting.

• Ensure that all postings (debits and credits) are balanced with the Income Auditor’s daily income journal.

• Process and manage special promotions and programs such as American Express, Best Rate Guarantee, and other contractual arrangements.

• Control and process travel agency commissions through the Property Management System (PMS).

• Review invoices to ensure correct guest or company details in line with reservation confirmations.

• Ensure that all invoices are supported by appropriate documentation and comply with signed contracts and agreements.

• Prepare and process rebates in case of discrepancies, ensuring proper approval procedures are followed.

• Issue and distribute original invoices to customers and maintain organized records of copies.

• Send monthly account statements to customers and follow up on outstanding balances.

• Prepare refund requests for overpayments, duplicate payments, or credit balances.

• Monitor tenant and house accounts and follow up on payments when required.

• Prepare monthly aging reports and report outstanding balances to the Director of Finance.

• Maintain accurate filing and documentation of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or Finance, preferably within the hospitality industry or a multinational environment, is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships with guests and partners.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to analyze financial information, solve problems, and draw sound conclusions.

• Comfortable working in a team-oriented and fast-paced hospitality environment.
