Production Engineer

YC INOX is a 100% Taiwanese investment. Our company operates in stainless steel tube and pipe manufacturing and service center operations with approximately 350 employees.

We are looking for a Production Engineer to be assigned in different manufacturing and processing operations within our Production Department.

The position will support daily production activities, process monitoring, production performance, quality continuity and continuous improvement studies in coordination with related departments.

The scope and level of responsibility will be determined according to the candidate’s educational background, technical knowledge, experience and organizational needs.

Recent graduates and candidates with a few years of production experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an Engineering or Science faculty, preferably in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Candidates graduated from recognized foreign universities may also be considered,
• New graduates and candidates with experience in production, manufacturing or process-related roles,
• Interest in stainless steel, metal manufacturing, tube/pipe production or industrial processing operations,
• Basic knowledge of production processes, technical drawings, quality control and continuous improvement principles,
• Good command of English,
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs,
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving and reporting skills,
• Strong communication and teamwork skills,
• Willing to work actively in the production area,
• Able to work on-site in Dilovası / Kocaeli,
• No military service obligation for male candidates.

Job Description

• Support daily production and processing activities in line with production plans and targets,
• Monitor production quantities, process parameters, downtime, scrap and quality results,
• Follow production performance and prepare regular reports,
• Support the analysis and resolution of production-related problems,
• Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities,
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Warehouse and other related departments,
• Support the preparation and updating of work instructions, production records and process documentation,
• Follow first-piece, in-process and final inspection activities together with the Quality team,
• Participate in efficiency, cost reduction, 5S and workplace improvement activities,
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and company procedures.
