Procurement Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to take responsibility at fit-out and General Contractor works for interior architectural firm. Developing effective strategies on procurement &bidding activities and managing all processes by providing good coordination with customers, sub-contractors and suppliers will be your major duties.

Responsibilities

• Checking projects’ BOQ (bill of quantity) and required documents. Having tender documents sent to approved sub-contractors
• Ensuring the compliance of quotations with specifications and drawings, detect if there is a discrepancy regarding requested visual effect, sizes, finish materials, Standards, and brands etc.
• Commercial and technical evaluation of bids, preparing bid-tabulation forms
• Managing procurement and vendor relationships for the company
• Negotiating clients, manufacturers, suppliers and/or contractors including all terms of contractual issues (payment, delivery, assurance, guarantee, bonds. etc.)
• Developing sourcing strategies, making market research for potential sub-contractors, suppliers etc.
• Ensuring adequate and on-time supply of materials and expediting the orders
• Resolving disputes and claims with vendors
• Preparing progress payments regarding terms of contracts both for client and sub-contractors
• Preparing weekly payment list and Purchase order status reports

General Requirements

• BSc degree in architecture or civil engineering.
• Proven minimum 3 years’ experience at similar positions
• Fluent in English
• Talent in negotiations and networking
• Good level of computer skills especially in MS Office (advance in excel)
• Average level of Autocad programs
• Abroad work experience is preferable
• Domestic / International travel without disabilities
• Analytical thinking and confident to teamwork
• Have strong communication skills
• No military service obligation for male candidates.
