QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a global precious metallic mining company operating in İliç/Erzincan. We are looking for “PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST”” whowill be resident in Erzincan. It is a contractual project based task with 5+1 weeks rotational shift. Contract period will start ASAP and will end at May 2018.
The person will utilize his/her previous experience in a multinational environment while contributing to his/her career as part of global team.
The ideal candidate is required to have the following qualifications:
•University Graduate in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related department.
• Minimum 4-5 years of field experience in purchasing services, goods and managing contracts
• Purchasing experience about mining or construction will be a strong asset
• Proven success in negotiation of purchasing goods or services.
• Strong consideration about shipping terms, delivery, discounts, escalation, and other factors relating to commercial issues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Good technical knowledge of written and spoken English
• Willingness to reside in İliç-Erzincan.Transportation and accomodation will be supplied.
İŞ TANIMI
• Prepare, process, review and issue requests for quotations of field purchase requisitions• Evaluate quotations, complete negotiations and prepare bid summaries for project approval.
• Prepare, issue and administer purchase orders and change orders, assuring all documentation and specifications are included.
• Participate in the resolution of Back-Charge claims if requested, related to field and home office purchase orders.
• Close out of purchase orders ensuring electronic retention requirement are met.
• Coordinate the disposal of surplus material.
• Review and assist accounting personnel in resolving billing and pricing issues between the purchase order and invoice when required.
• Contact suppliers to confirm clear understanding of the purchase order conditions, requirements and the agreed shipping dates.
• Follow-up on suppliers to maintain shipping schedules.
• Assist in the resolution of technical and commercial issues.
• Review shipping instructions and confirm the suppliers have adhered to all requirements.
• Confirm with supplier that shipment was made and by obtaining shipping information for traceability.
· Coordinate with the suppliers to ensure prompt replacement of material that has been: short, damaged or reported missing in transit.
· Coordinate in returning material, which may have been shipped in error.
· Prepare periodic reports indicating the status of supplier activities and action being taken to resolve problems.
· Notify the IPMT Procurement Manager and Construction Management (both Expat Managers) of any potential delays, which may affect construction schedule and assist in their resolution.
