QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
With around 750 stores in 26 countries, 21 million local and global customers and more than 110,000 employees from 150 nations, METRO Cash & Carry is one of the most internationalised wholesalers in the world and is looking for 'QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST' who eats and breathes wholesaling and is determined to shape his/her life.
- University degree in faculty related with Food (food engineer,veterinary,chemical etc.)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance & Audit & Food Safety and Project management in related fields
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications
- Knowledge of BSCI,IFS and FSSC is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel
- No military obligation for male candidates
- Interest in Gastronomy world and a food lover
İŞ TANIMI
- Prepare product requirement profile for Own Brand food products in accordance with food safety standards and legal regulations.
- Organize food supplier audits and product analysis,in case non conformities, to follow up corrective actions by contacting suppliers.
- Visit and assess suppliers' facilities, if necessary.
- Support suppliers to improve their food safety level by establishing close relationship and evaluate suppliers' performance.
- Organize and follow up social compliance audits (based on BSCI) for primary production suppliers such as meat, fish,fruits and vegetables suppliers and provide detailed informatioabout the audit results and develop the suppliers with their social compliance (BSCI) levels.
- Follow up and examine customer complaints and take corrective actions.
- Follow up legal regulations and encourage and support food suppliers in adapting and establishing.
- Coordinate the projects on product traceability and susstainability.
- Sustain close relations with the suppliers, support themdeveloping on food standards and follow up their performance.
