Planning Engineer

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

The successful candidate should have the following experience and skills: 

• University degree from engineering (preferably from Industrial Engineering) 
• Min 1 years of experience in a similar management position in manufacturing 
• Advanced level of both written and spoken English 
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications 
• Experience with ERP systems 
• Analytical thinking, strong planning and organizational skills, and attention to detail are required 
• Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others, has exceptional interpersonal-communication skills 
• Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to review and interpret concepts and to communicate necessary actions and requests clearly and concisely 
• No restrictions for travel 

 JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Responsible for Demand planning, Inventory management, Line scheduling and Material requirements planning at Rotafilo manufacturing facility in Eskişehir and outsourced manufacturing facilities in Turkey.
• Establish and continuously improve S&OP process to secure forecast accuracy and increase customer service level 
• Close collaboration with the sales team in order to plan the production of stock products or those made to order, and prioritize any necessary revisions to the production plan.
• Manage production planning parameters in parallel with the changing demand and process dynamics 
• Manage the short and long term planning & reporting processes for the finished goods and raw materials in line with the master production schedule according to the capacity constraints 
• Work with the purchasing team for the stock management of raw materials to achieve on time delivery at optimum cost with optimum inventory levels 
• Key process owner for the new ERP system implementation for Stock management and Production Planning modules 
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs 
• Monitoring and improving KPIs: forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, order lead times, product availability and service level to customer
