Cost Control Specialist

Job Description

• Analyze factory operations and effectively address gaps in procedures
• Monitor all processes in production (Procurement - Warehouse movements etc.)
• Implement and oversee cost systems to determine appropriate unit costs for products, allocate costs between management and production divisions, and categorize production costs into different categories
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs to products in a standard cost environment, monitor and report cost variances, conduct inventory valuation, and provide primary support to the operations team.
• Detailed analysis of cost elements (Materials - Labor - Depreciation and other production expenses. Supported by reports)
• Implement and monitor cost reduction plans
• Conduct analysis of variances between bid costs and actual costs
• Update detailed capacity for the factory and measure capacity utilization,
• Prepare profitability reporting (Factory level - Customer - Product - Sales order - Channel - Material Group)
• Prepare cash management reporting (Factory level - Customer-based)
• Prepare budgets (Expenses - Product cost - Investment expenditure)
• Monitor expenditure budgets
• Control incoming and outgoing goods transactions and consumption efficiency

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Graduated from universities with degrees in Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics, Finance, Statistics, etc.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cost Accounting
• Experience in the manufacturing sector (preferably energy, automotive, household appliances sectors)
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Strong communication skills, adaptable to verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong numerical reasoning skills
• Strong analytical, planning, forecasting, and negotiation skills.
• Inventory management; reporting and analysis skills.
• Strong reporting skills,
• Seeking team members with proficiency in speaking, understanding, and writing English at an advanced level.
