Oracle Database Planning Specialist

• Bachelor degree in Computer, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years experience,
• Strong analysis and reasoning skills, results oriented, team player, keeping current with new developments in technology,
• Knowledge about operating systems, computer networks and databases,
• Preferably knowledge about Oracle DB, Big Data, Backup and Restore,
• Ability to develop policies, procedures and standarts documents,
• Fluent in English.

İŞ TANIMI

• Gain and keep the architectural knowledge for existing IT Databases and Big Data Systems (Dev, Test, Preprod, Prod, DR), and make updates where needed.
• Define and update the architecture, standards and the procedures relating to databases, application servers and big data planning.
• Analyze, design, define configuration, and prepare compliant architecture regarding  database and big data requirements for projects,
• Perform database and application server planning tasks in relation to IT projects and requests, manage projects, and prepare status reports for the group manager and other related parties.
• Participate in IT Infrastructure capacity and performance planning activities, prepare solution plans, and perform, coordinate and support planned activities.
• Installation of databases and big data infrastructures where needed. Operation of these until they are handed over to the Operation team. Undertaking performance tuning/backup/restore tasks.
• Follow developments in technology, and develop new competency based on new technology in order to keep IT Database systems current for satisfying business needs.  Undertake relevant research and test tasks.
