QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Five Star / Luxury Hotel experience
- Must be a representational asset to the hotel
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Data management / information technology usage skills
- Strong communication and social skills
- Ability to focus on guest needs, problem resolution
- Good team player
İŞ TANIMI
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to Guests
- Set table according to type of event and service standards
- Answer questions on menu selections. Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Check in with Guest to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, glass, etc, throughout the day
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beer and non-alcoholic sections available in the assigned outlet
- Maintain knowledge of the particular characteristics and description of every wine/Champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list
- Maintain complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink.
- Maintain complete knowledge of strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving
- Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation, menus, price range and dress code of assigned outlet
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment only as intended.
- Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departments’ policies and service procedures
- Maintain complete knowledge of Micros and manual systems
- Inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies
- Legibly document orders when system is down and distribute orders to respective personnel for preparation or order
- Anticipate Guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge Guests even when busy
- Maintain positive Guest relations
- Be fully versed with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any Guest inquiry
