• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplines,
• At least 2-3 years of experience in purchasing processes,
• Considerable knowledge of purchasing methods of analyzing supplies, materials and services, also procedures and techniques of specification writing,
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office programmes,
• Good command of English both written and spoken,
• Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills,
• Strong demonstrated negotiation and conceptual skills,
• A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-discipline environment,

Yıldız Holding, one of the largest and fast growing groups of Turkey, is looking for an Purchasing Specialist / Assistant Specialist who will work in Continental Confectionery Company Factory in Çorlu/Tekirdağ. A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:

• Managing procurement of In-direct materials and services,
• Purchasing the In-direct materials and services Materials with best prices, high quality and on time,
• Within the company procedures evaluate purchasing requests, collect the proposals and prepare comparison analysis,
• Tracks all open orders until receiving of the related materials/services and informs requesters regularly,
• Arrange the contracts preparation and contracts renewal process,
• Making the supplier performance evaluation of suplliers,
• Making research in market to create alternative suplly channels and gaining the alternative suplliers,
• Partner with our suppliers to ensure that strong cost reduction programs are in place on all major spend items,
• Use market knowledge to generate, and update regularly, accurate short/medium and long-term forecasts for material pricing to aid better purchasing decisions,
