We are currently looking for Occupational Health&Safety Engineers to join our Health&Safety team. The positions will be based onGölcük/Kocaeli. Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• University degree (BS/MS) in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Mechanical, Civil or similar.
• Min. C Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security,
• At least 2 years experience as a H&S Engineer,
• Good knowledge on health and safety and environmental legislations and requirements, Health & Safety procedure development and legal aspects of safety, maintenance activities
• Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and lean principles
• Effective team player to collaborate with other people in different projects,
• Advanced level of English,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

İŞ TANIMI

• To prepare documents such as instructions, procedures, standards, guides, announcements, about occupational safety.
• To develop Health&Safety procedures, programs and systems.
• To investigate occupational accidents and serious accidents, root cause analysis, preparing and documenting an accident report.
• To take an active role in determining the preventive measures for the root causes of the accident and to control the implementation of the determined measures.
• To identify and organize preventive training needs for work safety throughout the plant.
• To keep statistics on occupational safety (work accident frequency, work accident, etc.). To prepare reports and tables showing the general situation of the facility and distribution of job statistics according to departments.
• To follow the safety legislations, to monitor Ford standards, to monitor local and foreign publications, to assess the effects on the plant safety system, and to report cases that are not appropriate according these publications.
• To provide communication between the Labor Inspectors of the Ministry of Labor and Ford safety office and facility management. To follow the required tasks and to inform the facility management and the supervisor about developments.
