We are looking for a  Contracts and Cost Engineer to be placed in the following position for the supervision works of Marmaray Project in İstanbul.
 

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering , M.Sc. degree is an asset,
• Minimum 7 years of working experience in similiar field
• General knowledge and understanding of the construction business & contracts administration,
• Experience in large scale construction projects (Metro, light rail,railways are preferable)
• General knowledge and experience of FIDIC contracts, knowledge of FIDIC Silver Book preferred,
• Analytical mind-ability to review documentation and extract relevant critical aspects,
• High degree of commitment , motivation and integrity,
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team,
• Excellent command of English interms of both oral and written capabilities ,

İŞ TANIMI

• Collect, analyze and evaluate cost data, review with related technical staff to ascertain validity of claims,
• Review contractor's detailed cost proposals,
• Calculate values of claims and variations in accordance with the contract for recommendation to the Employer,
• Attend clarification meetings with contractor,
• Review claim documentation submitted by contractors to establish contractula and legal basis of claims,
• Prepare draft assessments of contractors's claims,
• Report to the Contract Manager of his delegate,
