Kilim as a group of five companies has had a succesful past of forty years which began in 1953 with the establishment of Kartaltepe Mensucat Fabrikaları T.A.Ş. The companies under Kilim group are Kartaltepe Mensucat Fabrikaları T.A.Ş. (Kartaltepe Textile Mill),Kilim Dış Tic.ve Pazarlama A.Ş. (Kilim Export and Marketing), Yeni Tekstil Mensucat Fabrikaları A.Ş.(Yeni Textile Confection Mill), Hamle Tekstil San.ve Tic.A.Ş. (Hamle Textile), Kilim Mensucat San. Ve Tic.A.Ş. (Kilim Ind. And Trade).

Our textile factories located in Edirne and Istanbul are some of the largest of their kind in Turkey and each is fully integrated.

The full daily capacity of Kartaltepe Mensucat Fabrikaları is appx. 100,000 meters on denim and gabardine with 30,000 spindles and more than 300 looms weaving cotton,polyester and/or viscose qualities operating on 3 shift basis.

The grey clothes produced in the factories are finished (bleached,mercerised,dyed and printed)

The capacity of our confection mill is 400-450,000 pieces Per month bringing them to an esteemed market share in the USA and the European markets.

With the implementation of modernization and investment programmes by the late 90’s,our quality as well as the quality of our confection mill is certified by ISO 9002 Quality Guarantee System.

The product mix of denim and flats - including bed sheetings - is adapted to new fashion trends and enables the company to have big market share in USA and local market with its reputable customers and Turkish Military sales.

With the high quality in the production of Denim and Gabardine, Kilim now aims to export in new markets with reliable and trustful customers.
