What?

We are looking for Night Manager to join our vibrant team. You’ll need to live and breathe our values; be smart, honest, efficient, inspiring whilst displaying empathy. Ideally with a background within the hospitality sector.

Night Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Mission Control and Ground Control Operations, as well as Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and Engineering operations on their shift. Additionally, they will ensure that all guests' needs are attended to and assisted in both hotels, YOTEL and YOTELAIR. Night Manager is going to split time between the two areas based on business needs.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee and lead all aspects of Mission and Ground Control operations, as well as F&B, Housekeeping and Engineering operations in conjunction with the Mission Control Manager.

Greet all guests on Ground Control or Komyuniti and assist as needed.

Monitor the flow of traffic and ensure that there is no congestion, jumping in to assist where needed.

Deliver unparalleled service above and beyond the norm to exceed guest expectations in all departments.

Solicit and communicate guest feedback for continuous improvement with operation departments.

Own all customer complaints and issues and seek immediate resolve.

Extend professionalism and courtesy to fellow crew members and customers at all times.

Ensure a daily pre—shift meeting is conducted on each shift and be current on all in-house events and citywide attractions.

Perform tasks as assigned by the superior.

Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm at all times.

Provide and assist guests with information on the area, directions, taxi, general services, etc. that enhances the YOTEL guest experience.

Ensure thorough knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.

Maintain absolute cleanliness and ordinance of all areas and displays at Mission Control, Ground Control, the Front Entrance and all public areas on Lobby.

Lead the crew members by example and motivate them.

Develop, train, coach and counsel crew members as per YOTEL Brand standards.

Ensure YOTEL Brand standards are met.

Administrative duties include, but are not limited to; Scheduling, Payroll Process, Inventory, ordering supplies, controlling the check list for the shift is completely executed and signed off on, end of shift reports and special projects.

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years in a Front office Management role with at least two years as an Assistant Front Office Manager in high volume hotels

Computer literate and good knowledge of property specific applications.

Strong communication, decision-making and organization skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Ability to motivate and develop team members.

Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation.

Guest focused individual

Second or multiple languages are a plus.

Able to do shift work; work on weekends, eve/public holidays as and when assigned.

Maintain a friendly & cohesive work environment with crew, internal departments & guests.
