This is a Service & Commissioning Engineer role,reporting to the Marine and Ports Division Manager in the Business Area- Process Automation located in Dudullu,Istanbul.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, marine and marine electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of work experience as Service & Commissioning Engineer in marine industry.
• Upper-intermediate English skills.
• Turkish knowledge is a must.
• Continuous development mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel.

Your responsibilities

• Execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Delivery quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB.
• Performs service tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories (Installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, extensions, replacements, etc.).
• Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation.
• Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and the appropriate quality for service activities.
• Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
• Troubleshoots simple equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
• Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.
