QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be the support person for testing and verification activities on a range of assignments in the Power Grids, Power Transformers in Istanbul, Kartal. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for executing quality assurance activities according to schedule and in line with relevant quality and safety guidelines.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • More than 3 years of experience in transformer electrical testing.
  • Sound knowledge of quality related engineering techniques, processes and tools; acquaintance with 6 sigma.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
  • Advanced level of written and spoken English.
  • Completed military service for male applicants.

Your responsibilities

  • Conducting testing and verification activities for transformer, materials and components.
  • Developing your leadership skills by guiding and supervising technicians and less experienced peers.
  • Preparing project test documentation and providing technical support during installation of test objects.
  • Following work plans to ensure high quality and timely implementation within targeted cost.
  • Supporting risk and opportunity assessments and reporting any contract, quality, program or cost issues for resolution.
  • Maintaining a strong presence in the engineering industry, collaborating with a network of engineering professionals and sharing knowledge and best practices across different projects.
  • Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project; conducting FAT’s with presence of the customer.
  • Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
