Mine Engineering Supervisor

We are looking for a team member for the position of ‘Mine Engineering Supervisor’ who will take place in Open Pit Mining Operation in Kastamonu Hanonu location, will lead the Mining Planning, Related Projects, Rock Mechanics and Survey units.
 

• BSc Mining Engineering Degree,
• 10 year or more experience in similar position,
• At least 3 years practical mining experience at the early stage of career (surface and /or underground mining; drilling, blasting, excavation, etc.),
• Mine Planning / Design Engineering experience,
• Being user of 3D Mine / Geology Modelling Program, preferably Datamine,
• Having Rock Mechanics knowledge and / or understanding
• Having an experience of leading a team,
• Fluency in English,
• Team player,
• Being energetic and having leadership skills,
• Able to balance technical and financial objectives,
• Preferably nonsmoker.

İŞ TANIMI

• The purpose of this position is to provide technical support to the Production Unit and the contractor,
• To be responsible for preparing plans and projects (designs) that are required the mine to be operated efficiently and safely and to lead the team that has to prepare them,
• Short & Long Term Mine Plans (Life of Mine, yearly, monthly, weekly),
• Open Pit road, bench and related designs,
• Ensuring all plans and designs to be in line with financial expectations,
• Preparing Engineering Budget by coordinating with Mine Operation Unit and following it up,
• Leading Survey Unit to allow all projects and designs to be applied in the field and control them for reconciliation,
• Preparing Mine Production Plans by coordinating with Geology and Plant and reconciliate,
• Coordinating all plans and projects with Contractor,
• Be responsible for preparing contractor progress payment reports.
