We are looking for a ‘Senior Finance Specialist’ for our global client operating in the logistics sector, for whom we provide consultancy services.”

Job Description

·        Ensure the effective and timely execution of collection processes

·        Monitor customer accounts receivable and perform account reconciliations

·        Follow up on overdue payments and take necessary actions to accelerate collections

·        Manage cash application and payment recording processes

·        Verify the accuracy of financial data and perform system entries accordingly

·        Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting

·        Execute operations in compliance with internal procedures and company policies

Qualifications

•    Background in Finance / Accounts Receivables
•    Experience with Excel
•    Experience in reconciliation
•    Experience in collection
•    Preferably knowledgeable in SAP and Oracle.
•    Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business environment setting 
•    Ability to pay close attention to detail
•    High degree of customer orientation
•    Good negotiation skills
•    Good Problem solving and analytical skills
•    Keen to learn and approach subjects outside of comfort zone and propose suggestions for improvement,
•    Experience working with third party auditors / customer portals
•    Experience in an international environment or similar
•    Bachelor degree from BA, Economics or other relevant departments,
•    Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in a multinational, environment; broad knowledge and experience in financial data & document management, follow up and direct
